This is a small, highly technical working group meeting of stock assessment specialists. It has the following terms of reference: (1) Evaluate alternative approaches for applying close-kin data for stock assessment purposes; (2) Examine the impact of using the close-kin data within the operating model to evaluate consistency with other information and model assumptions; (3) Evaluate grid structure and associated uncertainty given new close-kin information; and (4) Refine version control and management procedure code for implementation by the Extended Scientific Committee.
