Annual meetings of the Extended Commission are hosted by Members in rotation. The Extended Commission reports to the Commission and consider matters including: (a) Interpretation or implementation of the Convention and measures adopted pursuant to it, such as deciding upon a total allowable catch and its allocation among the Members; (b) Regulatory measures for conservation, management and optimum utilisation of southern bluefin tuna; (c) Matters which are reported by or entrusted to the Extended Scientific Committee; (d) Matters which may be entrusted to the Secretariat; (e) Other activities necessary to carry out the provisions of this Convention.
